"I was on a solo culinary adventure and I am glad I found this cosy and warm family run restaurant! Excellent hospitality, top quality authentic Palestinian dishes, great attention to details, I truly enjoyed my dinner there and I will definitely visit again! Keep up the good work!"

"Maqluba with lamb was delicious. Long grain rice with super tender lamb that was fatty and flavourful. Musakkhan was interesting, having no prior experience with sumac. A little berry sour, together with the pomegranate and sweetness from the caramelized onions, a flavour profile I'm not quite familiar with! Oh and the kunafe definitely sealed the deal. Crispy, warm, stringy cheese-pull in the centre and sugar syrup that wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Staff was attentive. There was a very warm auntie who spoke to all the patrons. And the owner generously shared the story behind the restaurant and how it came about. All in all, a pleasant experience!"

"A cozy, filled with warm colours interior with thoughtfully designed spaces. The owner introduced each dishes to us and the unique preparation method, makes us appreciate the food and stories behind it even more! Strongly recommend the rice dish, and kunafa. There’s a women only hangout place & fitness gym upstairs, operated by the owner’s wife. Feminine spaces with lots of beautiful murals. Def check it out!!"

"So it's our first time trying authentic Palestinian food. We had the Lamb Maqluba and the Mushakkan... both are very delicious and comforting! What makes our experience even better is the very friendly staffs. We were greeted by the aunty who explained to us about the dishes. The owner was there too and encouraged us to eat the Mushakkan with our hands :D Will definitely go back again to try other dishes."

"Yaffa Restaurant offers a wonderful Ramadan buffet featuring authentic Palestinian cuisine that truly delights the senses. The food is delicious, flavorful, and prepared with traditional recipes that reflect the rich heritage of Palestine. One of the highlights is their Palestinian desserts, especially halva (halba), which is rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. Every dish is thoughtfully presented and satisfying, making iftar here a memorable experience. Food served includes: Bamiya bizzert, Lamb maqlooba, chicken preserved with lemons, rice with eggplants etc. Top up with refreshing homemade pomegranate drink. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, enhanced by Palestinian-themed décor and background music that creates a peaceful and cultural atmosphere. The restaurant also provides a dedicated prayer area upstairs, making it very convenient for guests to perform solat comfortably. There is also a baby changing room and dedicated wudu area and exceptionally clean toilets. With its great food, comfortable setting, and thoughtful facilities, Yaffa Restaurant is an excellent choice for breaking fast with family and friends during Ramadan especially there is a promotion for Iftar. Note: there is an early bird special"

"Great experience at Yafa! The food tastes very home-cooked and authentic. Loved the Halumi Salad, Muhammara Dip, Baked Pitta, Grilled platter and the Apple and Pomegranate juice. Good service and a nice, chilled vibe. Definitely coming back for their Manakeesh next time! Highly recommended if you are in the TTDI area."

"A serendipitous detour into this quiet corner of TTDI - and the warm glow of a wonderfully inviting interior - drew us in for a laid-back midweek lunch. This nine-month-old Palestinian eatery leans into the familiar comforts of the Middle East and Central Asia: grilled meats, vibrant dips, pillowy breads and bright, herb-laced salads. It’s easily one of the cheeriest spaces around, with its riot of colourful chairs and a striking sofa up front, draped in vivid red tapestry like a welcoming flourish. We began with three mezze - cauliflower, chickpeas and a peppers-and-walnut blend - each fresh, well-seasoned and especially irresistible with the warm, fluffy falafels. The beef and chicken kebabs followed: smoky, tender, moist and full of flavour. Service was efficient, friendly, and unfussy. There’s more on the menu calling our names - so yes, we’ll be back."

"Nice ambiance . We ere welcomed by a very friendly aunty. The food were good too. We had dinner there and I had mushakkan which a dish to celebrate olive harvesting . I can taste many texture in the ingredients as it had almond and pomegranate that bring the crunchy, sweet, caramelized taste . A bit different from a normal middle eastern restaurant we used to go to. My husband like always he had kebab."
